Marvellous Mediocrity?

Hello doom and gloom my old friend
I cannot pretend

To know who our new signings are
Promotion seems a reach too far

Okay we got the cup selection wrong

At first glance
But with a tired first team we had to give second string a chance

A dour draw against Forest wasn't a classic
How are we going to get that midfield to tick

Not much upfront
Let's be blunt

Some are passengers in the game
Though its too easy to blame

Individual players
Though there are many layers

To a team that still needs time
Lets  not whinge and whine

At times we've rode our luck
Perhaps January window will offer a fresh look

At a side that not long ago weren't far away
So for now TC should stay

Keep the faith through the bad and good
Sure our form has got stuck in the mud

I berated Ayling but he will be missed
For all the likes of Lasogga have been dissed

We need pull together
This grey dark weather

Doesn't help the mood
But I conclude

That somehow there is always a dark horse
Let the blip run its course

A tough few months in store
It's never been a bore

Being Leeds United
Let's give credit in the terraces the passion has been ignited
