Uncomfortably Numb With A Sense Of Dejavu

Players not getting paid
No less than they deserve I'm afraid!
What a mess GFH have made...
Ho hum doom and gloom
Who's in charge a bunch of incompetent skint Arabs or a crooked Italian loon?
Do a deal with the devil or close pretty soon....
Football league won't sanction this clown
But unless Dodgy Dave Haigh and Sly Salem and co leave town
I predict a riot and a sunk ship going down!
Nothing surprises me any more
Just sickens me to the core
What else to endure?!
It's bad when some think Bates wasn't so bad
Are they flaming mad?!
This is so sad...
Oh well marching on regardless folks
Bring on another Bacardi and Coke
Better turn off Twitter and Facebook before I choke ;)

A Point Hard Earned Or Three Points Gone Begging? What next for Brian's Battlers?

It says something about our first half performance that so many were disappointed not to go away with all three points. I for one would've taken a draw before kick off. Just looking at the QPR bench I thought oh heck, this is going to be an uphill climb. Full credit to Leeds, they took the mantle to the loaded London outfit and for what they lacked in beauty they made up for in brawn. Pity the same old defensive dramas led to an admittedly skillful strike from Jermaine 'journeyman' Jenas. I don't totally believe the playoff is out of sight but neither am I convinced that it's within our powers either given that we are so Jekyll and Hyde in our performances of late.

Whatever the truth of the Italian Mafia Moneymen, Brian's business should be firmly rooted in the playing scenario and in fairness it appears Cellino has been putting the ball firmly in McDermott's court by seemingly sanctioning the ambitious loaning of Butland and Wickham, both of which I have been impressed by. Or is that just because the rest of the squad flit from middling to mediocre with the notable exceptions of McCormack and Byram???? Talking of Byram.... is McD scared of playing him too much like with Mowatt who fades after a bit of a bruising battle with bigger, stronger, older opponents...or is Kebe, Stewart etc rabbits that haven't quite fully emerged out of a magic hat just yet? I like Brian as a man, but there are undoubtedly question marks about his managerial decisions. At times I'm not sure whether he knows when or how to make a substitution and I really don't know whether the real Rudy Austin will stand up and provide consistency (yet am I being harsh? Most of the rest of the team suffer from this) On the positive side despite from really dismal displays we are somehow within distance of some sort of late playoff push but (and it's a biiig but!!) only if we stabilise our home form and convert dig deep draws into workmanlike wins. Can I see that happening? Unsure...but this is Leeds and anything can happen.

My next game will be Millwall at Elland Road. I'd like to think by then we'd have won against Reading and Bolton at least......hmmmmm!!!!

Marching on regardless as always, quietly confident that a silver lining is ahead after all this political posturing in the blinkered boardroom settles it'll be nice to concentrate on the only thing that matters to the majority of frustrated fans, the football!
