The old issues still narks

Why is humble pie so difficult for Massimo to eat?
Steve is a bit irritating
But with no better offer waiting
Got to ride out the rest of the season
Enough moaning about Byram's supposed treason
Let's finish as high as we can
Its not all down the pan
Just a bit too little too late
Don't give me hate
Cook blows hot and cold

Will the rest of the team turn up at home?

A Game Of Two Halves..

Yesterday Leeds didn't take their chances
Angry glares and glances
From the touch line to the couch
That disallowed goal was an "ouch"
Regardless though
The second half start was a horror show
Never mind bye bye Byram
In defence we are manic mayhem
Silvestri a weak link in the chain
But it'll take more than a decent goalie to numb the pain
Of a bang average side
An owner continuing to take us for a ride
Manager subject to fat shaming
Possibly next a fickle firing
Squad needs an overhaul
Not confident at all
Yet Wednesday weren't all that great
Just exposed why we are in a state
Clinical when we were wasteful
The game wasn't dull
The ref didn't have a good game
But he's not really to blame
Disappointing but we lacked that cutting edge
We'll continue to collect dust on the "maybes" ledge
Until continuity and investment injects
More than journeymen and rejects
It's not all bad
Let's turn down the misery a tad
Didn't expect a lot beforehand
Yet the season is slipping away like quicksand
The unbeaten run was uninspiring
Sound bites on transfers frightening
Nothing new there

Balls To Business.....

Players come and go folks. I know that more than most. If Byram goes it's business, heyho. We are an average Championship side at best and ever since Redfearn got sacked Sam's been sulking and thoughts elsewhere. Can't totally blame him, with a screw loose owner publicly berating both management and playing staff over the few seasons Mad Massimo's been here. Until we have a long term plan (ha ha ha) and stability (haha ha again) this will continue....

Here comes the January sales adrenaline rush

Squeaky bums
Hapless Hockaday sacked
My brain is whacked
Some guy from Boro has joined the fray
Bridcutt loan extended the other day
Positivity is tomorrow's pandemonium
I'm not about to crack a smile
Let's keep it on the down low for a while
We need quality not quantity
As for Boy Wonder Byram what will be will be
A decent cup run good for the soul
Though a decent assault on the promotion trail the ultimate goal
I've seen some tantalising talent at Leeds
And some pathetic wilting weeds
Would just like consistency
The manager free
To choose the team and call the shots
No meddling from the Italian despot
I don't quite know if we have enough in the locker
It's no good for the old tick tocker
But I'm looking forward to going back to Leeds soon
